Amazon sellers, tired of crickets chirping on your product page?

Watching those sales numbers flatline is painful, I get it.

Fact is, most listings on Amazon are DOA…

  • Boring titles

  • Blah bullets

  • Photos that would put a sloth to sleep.

But here's the deal:

Your listing is your digital storefront.

If it doesn't scream "BUY ME", you're leaving money on the table.

This week, we're fixing that.

We're crafting:

  • Titles that hook shoppers.

  • Bullets that solve their problems.

  • Images that make them drool.

No more guesswork.

No more wasted ad spend.

Let's turn your listings into profit-generating machines.

Get ready to say goodbye to those sales slumps!

Write titles that convert

  • Prioritize relevant keywords: Conduct thorough keyword research to pinpoint the terms shoppers actually use on Amazon to find products like yours. Tools like Helium10, or even Amazon's own search suggestion feature are great for this.

  • Front-load your best keywords: Ensure the most important keywords appear near the beginning of your title. This increases their influence on Amazon's search algorithm.

  • Include product features & benefits: Incorporate attributes like color, size, material, or main use case (e.g., "for beginners", "waterproof").

  • Brand name matters: Include your brand name, especially if it has recognition, to build awareness and trust.

  • Be concise (under 200 characters): Titles get truncated on Amazon. Aim for clarity and impact within the character limit for optimal display.

Example:

Let's say you're selling a yoga mat.

Here's how the title could be improved:

  • Weak Title: Yoga Mat - Thick Exercise Mat - Fitness Gear

  • Stronger Title: BalancePro Yoga Mat - Thick, Non-Slip Fitness Mat for Home Workouts - Eco-Friendly TPE

Why it's better:

The stronger version includes:

  • Relevant keywords ("yoga mat", "non-slip", "home workouts")

  • Emphasizes benefits ("thick", "eco-friendly")

  • Features the brand name (BalancePro).

Here’s a title breakdown:

Benefit-Focused Bullet Points

  • Focus on outcomes, not features: Instead of simply stating a feature, reframe it as what the customer gains from it. Example: Instead of "Durable rubber outsole," try "Outlasts the toughest trails for years."

  • Solve customer pain points: Think about common problems or frustrations customers might have related to your product type. Address how your product solves these issues directly.

  • Use vivid, action-oriented language: Help customers visualize the benefit. Verbs and sensory words pack a punch. Example: "Soothing lavender scent melts away stress."

  • Back up claims with data (if possible): Numbers and specific quantifiers build trust. Example: "Dries 2x faster than standard towels"

  • Don't overcrowd: Stick to the 5 most impactful benefits. Overloading bullet points creates clutter and dilutes your key messages.

  • Experiment with formatting: Capitalization, special characters and spacing help draw the eye. Test variations to see what looks best for your product.

Let's illustrate this:

Imagine selling a noise-canceling sleep mask:

Weak Bullet: Comfortable material. Stronger Bullet: Blocks out distractions for deep, restful sleep.

Here’s an example:

High-Quality Images

  • Professionalism is paramount: Invest in professional product photography if possible. Well-lit, crisp images vastly boost the perceived value of your product.

  • The main image matters most: Your primary image should be on a pure white background, showcasing the product clearly from its most flattering angle.

  • Lifestyle shots sell the aspiration: Include a few images demonstrating your product in use, creating a connection between the product and the life the customer desires.

  • Details, details, details: Feature close-ups to highlight textures, materials, or intricate features that set you apart from competitors.

  • Zooming is your friend: Ensure Amazon's zoom functionality is enabled, so buyers can scrutinize details.

  • Infographics FTW: Use text overlays or simple infographics to highlight key features or benefits directly on images.

  • Show off the packaging: If your product has appealing packaging, include a shot. This reinforces brand professionalism.

  • Video when possible: Consider including a short product demonstration video, especially if your product involves assembly or unique functionality.

Important note:

Always adhere to Amazon's strict image guidelines to avoid listing suppression.
